Someone posted this in a facebook group last year and I have not yet found any info on it: what appears to be a knock-off Mighty Max pirate playset thing.
It seems even cheaper than Sammy Steel or Lovely Kitty, but it’s amusing nonetheless, and I dig the skull-n-crossbones compact design. Anyone have any info on this item?

It’s near-complete,, as far as I can tell: only missing the oars for the rowboat, and the peg leg pirate’s sword.
This really does feel like a lost Sammy Steel playset. Not only does the compact have the same kind of latch in the front, it also has the same kind of belt clip on the back as the Sammy sets do. The Sammy Steel and Lovely Kitty sets only had Made In China on them, with no imperial logo stamped, and this set’s markings are the same deal. I’d love to get a pic of a carded one.
Also, everything can’t possibly fit inside. I half-wonder if this wasn’t two different sets by the same company.

I don’t know the name of it. But I had one when I was a kid (about 20+ years ago). I remember getting it from a cheap dollar store back then so imagine it was a cheap unknown Chinese toy maker

I’ve been looking for this for ages! I also have pictures of the two pirates and their boat, rest of the set is missing. Any clues on what brand it was?
Still no clues, sadly. Never seen it carded. Did use to have one but I sold it to another collector.
