I had no intention of buying any custom Megos, until this one kept making rounds on ebay. It was so cool, and so believably authentic, and WGSH is so lacking in supervillains, I just had to grab it — Victor Von Doom!
He’s an amazing piece of work, cobbled together with Mego parts and presumably parts from Marvel Legends toys. He’s very topheavy though, so I had trouble getting him to stand up in or out of the box at first, and I’m afraid to find out the hard way if his head is glued on or not (likely it is, since he has no neck compared to the other dolls.)
He really makes the Fantastic Four set feel more complete, and it’s a shame Mego didn’t produce him in the first place (or more villains in general).
